Project REBUILD is involved in a lot of different projects throughout the community. The one we are most known for is the YouthBuild Program that provides young people between the ages of 18-24 the opportunity to re-engage in an educational program and participate in the workforce development training that we offer. Participants in this program can benefit from hands-on construction training, support as they work to complete their high school diploma or GED, life skills lessons, job readiness classes, career exploration, mentoring and leadership development.
Recently we started PR Futures, LLC as a way to expand the training opportunities for graduates that want to make construction a career. PR Futures gives our organization the flexibility to work with private homeowners to offer affordable solutions to their home repair needs. It also allows our graduates the opportunity to expand their training and sharpen their skills.
In addition to the worksite training program & PR Futures, Project REBUILD is committed to working with other organizations in the community. Some of our other programs include our Mentoring Program, our partnership with Mohler Lumber, our partnership with Community Building Partnership and the Downtown Canton Community Garden.
