Project REBUILD Summer Recap: Sun, Fun & Major Milestones!

This Summer, We Celebrated 25 Years in Style! We launched the “Where Are They Now” series, spotlighting our amazing alumni, kicked off our 3-year strategic plan, and welcomed a brand new class. We got creative in the kitchen with culinary classes from OSU Extension, and our members explored higher ed at Stark State College and attended the Black College Hall of Fame College Fair.

We Didn’t Just Learn — We Served!

Our team tackled community projects with Heart of Ohio Diaper Bank, CommQuest, the BIA, and Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank. We even found time for a splashy canoe trip with our Board President and wrapped it up by celebrating our October 2023 cohort’s achievements!
